Weighted Vest Assembly Instructions

Items Included

2x Hexagonal Nuts

(7.3cm width)

2x Bolts/weight holders

(10.7cm by 6.9cm)

1x Infinity Vest

This consists of:

  • 1 x padded vest
  • 1 x front plate
  • 1 x back plate
  • 2 x Velcro side straps

Assembly Instructions

1) Place the Bolt between the chest plate and chest padding of the Infinity vest. The round opening of the plate has thread for attaching the Bolt so be cautious not to damage this. (Please loosen the small Velcro rectangles holding the plate flush to the vest if you need extra room).

2) Insert the Bolt through the hole from underneath the plate until the base of the Bolt is flush with the plate. Secure by gently turning to the left until it stops. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!                                                                                                                                                                                                                

     

At this point the Bolt should be firmly attached to the vest plate. Fold down the small Velcro strips that secure the plate to the vest.

3) Repeat the process for the other plate.

4) Put the vest on adjusting to your size.

5) Attach the weights on the front and back using another person’s assistance if necessary.

6) Use the Hexagonal Bolts to secure weights onto plate.

Precautions and Pro Tips

  1. The Infinity vest can take up to 80kg maximum, 40kg on the chest and 40kg on the back. It fits regular gym plates.
  2. Please keep the weight even when possible.
  3. For press ups remove the front Bolt and hex-nut to give you full range of motion, we recommend asking for assistance with loading and unloading the back plate.
  4. Please be cautious with unloading and loading weights, as this has the potential to cause injuries such as whiplash.
  5. Please train controlled movements that you have trained prior, we highly recommend you do not try to learn any new exercises with this vest on first attempt.
  6. Please only use within your abilities and limitations. If unsure, seek assistance from a qualified fitness instructor.
  7. Please ensure weights are secured at all times while the vest is being worn.
  8. Pro Tip - for manageable amounts of weight (Example: 25% of your personal record with the vest), you may be comfortable loading the back of the vest on the ground and placing it gently over your head. After you are wearing the vest, tighten the straps and place the weight on the front plate and secure.
